A classic of the first order.
Enjoyed it more though, the first time I read it years ago.
Hemingway's short, clip sentences were easy reading and the dialog clear and concise.
Descriptions of the countryside traveled were wonderful seen through the eyes of Jake Barnes and his friends who were both American and English ex-pats. And the fiesta, running of the bulls through Pamplona and bull-fights, excellent.
Can easily see why many of today's authors list Hemingway as an influence in their writing.
